Dangerous Restaurant? Zoning Violations? 42-Year-Old Man in Critical Condition After 3 A.M. Shooting at Full House Tavern in Macon, Georgia

The shooting occurred in the parking lot of Full House Tavern, located at 3709 Bloomfield Road in Macon, GA. The victim was taken to Atrium Health Navicent. Police are still investigating the incident.

Adding another wrinkle to this incident, Macon-Bibb County Planning & Zoning inspectors found that Full House Tavern was in violation of zoning laws at the time of the shooting. Previously, Planning & Zoning inspectors discovered the Full House Tavern parking lot packed with about 1000 people standing around and in cars. Full House Tavern may not have had an alcohol license despite advertising “Bottomless Margarita” nights. It is possible that Full House Tavern also had parking lot violations because the congregating customers spilled over into other businesses’ parking spaces.

According to posts on Facebook, Full House Tavern is a relatively new business in Macon, Georgia. Its Facebook page’s first post was in August 2022. Facebook posts also claim a man known as “Dee” may be the victim of the shooting. He is seen in an image wearing a security shirt. Police have not yet released the identity of the 42-year-old victim.
